5. Arrangethetrainingcoursestoprovideknowledgetothenewemployeesandtherefreshing courses to the existing employees, as well as arrange the specific training courses that the employees need to know, such as, first aid & CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) course, indoor electrician course, basic fire-fighting, and fire evacuation drill course, organize the safety training for the outsource employees, etc. to make them have knowledge and understanding about the work to ensure safety during operation.
6. Provide the Company’s safety manual and safety manual for contractors in accordance with the relevant laws.
7. Conduct workplace drug testing, both at head office and branch offices.
8. Setupfireextinguishingtanksystemtomakeitcoverworkareaincludingstockarea;improve and purchase new fire extinguishing tanks to replace the deteriorated ones. Schedule a fire extinguisher inspection cycle once a month pursuant to the laws at the head office, branches, and warehouses nationwide to ensure that they are ready for use in case of emergency.
9. Provide medical supplies pursuant to the laws adequately and suitable with the number of employees in the workplace, including provide an infirmary and full-time registered nurses stationed at the
infirmary.
10. Encourage for arrangement of annual medical checkups both head office and branches for
prevention of the employees within the Company from the occupational diseases and in accordance to
the law.
11. Visit the branches to inspect the work areas on safety and listen to safety problems from
the employees at the branch and warehouse and bring back the problems to solve and improve the work. 12. Investigate, report accidents, and collect accident statistics, occupational disease to find guidelines to prevent, solve as well as cultivate positive attitude about safety works for all employees in
the workplace.
13. Measure environmental quality (light, sound, heat, and chemicals) to make them conform to
the standard criteria as prescribed by the laws.
14.Monitor and update the safety, occupational health, and environment laws to improve
compliance with the law.
15. Check and certify electricity system annually and check lift system monthly by the expert engineers.
16. Improve the auction yard area by using sound-adsorbent materials to reduce noise during the auction, prevent complaints from the surrounding communities and prevent hearing disease of the employee working during the auction.
During 2024, there were 4 occupational accidents or injuries, but it did not have any impact to business operations of the Company.
