SKyLAR dUNN
born and raised in las Vegas, nV, Skylar is a two-time Trojan and marshall student, including
his current stint as a first year full time mba candidate at the marshall School of business.
he is a consortium fellow and member of the black graduate Student leaders affinity club.
prior to marshall, Skylar worked at an advertising agency as a brand manager and also in
Silicon Valley as a Strategist for google. Skylar is currently an mba candidate at uSc’s mar-
shall School of business. as an mba candidate, Skylar plans to further hone his quantita-
tive and qualitative skills and use his passion for sports, marketing, and diversity to pivot
into Sports marketing and ensure the content being created is uplifting the communities it
serves. when he’s not busy with work or school Skylar enjoys watching sports, playing with
his english bulldog, beating anyone on nba 2K and most importantly rooting for everybody
that’s black!
ARIA AARON
aria aaron is a full-time mba student at the university of Southern california mar-
shall School of business. She is a consortium fellow, forté fellow, and president of
the black graduate business leaders affinity club at marshall. prior to marshall, she
worked in consumer products brand management at georgia-pacific in atlanta, ga
for about five years. after establishing her love for marketing working on the angel
Soft® bath tissue brand team, aria decided to pursue her passion by transitioning
into media and entertainment. She plans to work in partnerships marketing for a
tech company after graduating in may 2021.
hailing from nashville, Tn, aria has a b.S. in Journalism from florida a&m university
and a m.S. in management from wake forest university. She loves to stay active in
the local community and promote all things hbcu and black culture.
JAhRAEL MCdOWELL
Jahrael mcdowell is a 1st year mba student at ucla anderson. Jahrael is actively involved in
his school’s community and is a member in numerous student run clubs at ucla anderson. pri-
or to business school, he worked at general mills for eight years as a supply chain practitioner
in minneapolis, mn and chicago, il. Jahrael earned a bachelor of Science degree in logistics
management from the fisher college of business at The ohio State university. raised in a mili-
tary family with deep roots in service, Jahrael is a lifelong traveler who grew up much of his
life ‘hitting the reset button’ moving around every 1-2 years and has lived all over the midwest,
parts of the South and midsouth as well as abroad in europe. in his free time he enjoys giving
back to his community through youth mentorship, spending time outdoors biking and hiking
through national parks, staying fit and working out in his diy home gym and cheering on his
alma mater’s sports teams to victory.
