Mahatma Gandhi has rightly quoted, “The earth has enough resources for our
need, but not for our greed".
The Students of Std VIII celebrated World Environment Day by depicting their
thoughts on posters and writing slogans. Few students wrote short poems on
environment and recited them. Students enthusiastically participated in enacting a
song based on environment and a quiz on the same.
‘Let’s nurture nature for a better future’ - Environment Day acknowledges us with the
chance to broaden our vision, our opinions, and our responsibilities toward preserving
& enhancing the environment. An array of activities were organised to sensitise the
young minds and to raise environmental protection awareness among the youth. The
students also expressed their views and opinions on cyclones and its impact.
