KINDNESS MATTERS TO CROWN HEIGHTS LIONS
“Where There Is A Need There Is A Lion”
The Essential Medial Staff and others at
Dr. Susan Smith McKinney Nursing and
Rehabilitation Center in Brooklyn, was pre-
sented with breakfast on behalf of Crown
Heights Lions Club. About 200 meals were
served and participants enjoyed the deli-
cious Caribbean breakfast, consisting of
bakes and codfish along with coffee and
tea. This was the first in a series of break-
fast programs that the club has scheduled Breakfast is ready
to support the Medical Professionals who Nurses and doctor pose for a photo with their breakfast
work diligently to care for the elderly popula-
tion at Long Term Care Facilities and are
often overlooked. Two additional breakfast
presentations will be conducted within the
next week.
As a Mother’s Day Special, one hundred
and fifty Mother’s Day cards were presented
to the residents of the nursing home who
were unable to receive visits and celebrate
with their families and loved ones on this
special day. Respite lunch for the frontline staff at Crown Heights
