On June 11, Region Chair Arlene Punnett “teamed” “Kindness Matters” to Laurelton Lions Club and
they prove “Where There’s a Need, There’s a Lion”.

B2 to conduct an Environmental Project at Marine Photo shows Lions Maureen Thompson, Rebecca
Park. At the same time, Zone Chair Jerusha Membrano (Treasurer ) Ms. Josephine Moanefo (
center). as she accepts The Gloria Greene Memorial
Jacobs (B1) was also serving at an East New York Scholarship scholarship of $500 from Lions Fritz
Park in Brooklyn. Casimir (President - Elect) and Cheryl Caesar
(Secretary).
We weeded, raked, swept and mulched the grassy
areas to create a clean, relaxing landscape where
members of the community could enjoy the beauty
of their natural surroundings.
The Lions, especially members of the Marine Park
Alliance, were extremely proud of their
contribution..

Lion Gloria Greene is a deceased Past President of
Submitted by: the club who served with dignity and dedication to
ZC Bernadette Hokai the mission of Lionism.
Unfortunately, Ms. Moanefo and her family were
the victims of a recent fire that devastated their
home in Far Rockaway.
