Brooklyn Vanderveer Park Glenwood Lions Club
                     The Kings & Queens
                                                     Resolution

         The President, Board of Directors, Officers and Members of the Brooklyn Vanderveer Park Glenwood Lions
         Club,  in  a  meeting  held  on  November  11,  2019,  unanimously  voted  for  and  are  pleased  to  present  the
         endorsement of Lion Jacqueline V. Phillips, as a candidate for the office of  District Governor to serve District
         20-K1 for the 2020-2021 Lionistic year; and
         WHEREAS Lion Jacqueline V. Phillips is a member in good standing in the Brooklyn Vanderveer Park

         Glenwood Lions Club, and has demonstrated quality service, leadership, and dedication to the cause of Lionism; and
         WHEREAS Lion Jacqueline V. Phillips became a member of the Brooklyn Vanderveer Park Glenwood Lions Club in 2003;
         and

         WHEREAS Lion Jacqueline has held various positions with the Brooklyn Vanderveer Park Glenwood Lions Club including;
         President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, member of the Board of Directors, LCIF Coordinator; and
         WHEREAS Lion Jacqueline has chaired several committees in the Brooklyn Vanderveer Park Glenwood Lions Club, includ-
         ing Conventions,  Leadership, Anniversary Dance, Program,  Public Relations, Membership Drive,  Nominations and Elections,  and
         Fundraising; she also served on other committees such as Thanksgiving Food Baskets, School Book Bags and Supplies, Hosting
         and Feeding the Homeless, Volunteering at the Homeless Shelters also providing toys clothing and food to needy families; and

         WHEREAS Lion Jacqueline, served as Assistant Cabinet Secretary for District 20-K1, 2014-2015, Chairperson of the Environ-
         mental Committee, Zone Chairperson, 2009-2011, Region Chairperson, 2011-2013, Regional Manager, 2013-2014, Regional Comp-
         troller, 2015-2016, served for 3 years as Treasurer of the District 20-K1 Lions Foundation, served on the Voting and Election Commit-
         tee MD-20 NYS & Bermuda Convention 2014-2015, served on LCI new club formation team; and
         WHEREAS Lion Jacqueline currently serves as the Liaison on the Global Membership Team.  She previously served on the

         Global Leadership Team, Ex-Officio on the District 20-K1 Foundation and has completed her 2  Year as a Trustee on the Board of
         the Lions Eye Bank.  Lion Jacqueline has served as the District Family and Women’s Specialist, Chair of the District Holiday Party, a
         member on the Global Leadership Team and also served as the District Membership Chair and Chair of Women and Families in Lion-
         ism on the Global Membership Team. She has also served on District Committees such as Mid-Winter, Humanitarian Awards, Feed-
         ing, Environmental/go green (trees planting), Family & Friends Fun Day, Labor Day Parade, participates yearly in Breast Cancer,
         Diabetes and Teal walks, also NYC Marathon volunteer program. Lion Jacqueline attends many District functions including Advisory
         Committee Meetings, various workshops and symposiums, Cabinet meetings, 16 Mid-Winter Conventions, 16 State Conventions, 8
         International Conventions, 11 USA Canada Lions Leadership Forums and many Lions Day at the United Nations; and

         WHEREAS Lion Jacqueline, a Certified Guiding Lion is a graduate of the LCI Advanced Leadership Institute, graduate of MD
         -20 Lions Leadership Institute, a graduate of USA/Canada Lions University with both a Master’s and Bachelor’s Degrees and current-

         ly completed the requirements for the Doctorate Program; and
         WHEREAS  Lion  Jacqueline  has  received  various  awards  such  as  the  International  President  Certificate  of  Appreciation
         Award, Progressive Melvin Jones Fellowship, Progressive Robert J. Uplinger for Distinguished Service, Knights of the Blind, Alexan-
         der T. Wells Award, Lion of the Year and 100% Attendance award from Vanderveer Park Glenwood Lions Club, Certificates of Appre-
         ciation from several District Governors; and

         WHEREAS Lion Jacqueline whose field has been Accounting and Finance, has been a Payroll Manager/Asst. to VP Comp-

         troller.  She worked in the Entertainment and Publishing Industry for 37 years with professionalism, dedication and loyalty; and
         BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED, that the Vanderveer Park Glenwood Lions Club endorses and fully supports Lion Jacquel-

         ine V. Phillips as a Candidate for the office of District Governor to serve District 20-K1 for the Lionistic year 2020-2021; and be it fur-
         ther
         RESOLVED, that copies of this Resolution be transmitted to International President   Jung-Yul Choi, PCC Timothy Jachlewski,

         MD-20 Multiple District Secretary Treasurer; District Governor Deborah Harrison, District 20-K1; First Vice
         District Governor Jacqueline V. Phillips, Second Vice District Governor Anthony Cochran, Past District Governors, Cabinet Secretary,
         Cabinet Treasurer, Region and Zone Chairpersons, Club Presidents and Secretaries.
