Board of Directors and Members of Brooklyn Metropolis Lions Club, Inc. at their October 24,2021 meeting unanimously voted, approved, and
    are pleased to endorse Lion Mac Emerson Campbell as a candidate for the office Second (2nd) Vice District Governor to serve the Lions of
    District 20-K1 during the Lionistic Year 2022-2023 and
    WHEREAS, Lion Mac Emerson Campbell is a member in good standing in Brooklyn Metropolis Lions Club, District 20-K1 and has demonstrated
    stellar leadership, service and dedication to Lions Clubs International (LCI) mission, vision and values; and
    WHEREAS, Lion Mac Emerson Campbell is a Charter Member of Brooklyn Metropolis Lions Club, Inc. and continues to provide exceptional
    service; and
    WHEREAS, Lion Mac Emerson Campbell’s history of service began in 1978 when he was a Leo in Jamaica, West Indies; and

    WHEREAS, Lion Mac Emerson Campbell has served with distinction and honor as President, Vice President, Treasurer, Leo Advisor, a Board
    Member, Chairperson of several committees; and
    WHEREAS, Lion Mac Emerson Campbell has served District 20-K1 as Cabinet Treasurer, Zone Chairperson and on the Credential Committee
    at the MD-20 Convention; and

    WHEREA,S Lion Mac Emerson Campbell presently serves as Comptroller of District 20-K1 and trustee of the District 20-K1 Foundation, Inc.;
    and
    WHEREAS, Lion Mac Emerson Campbell was instrumental in organizing two clubs which were sponsored by Brooklyn Metropolis Lions Club,
    Inc. - Brooklyn Leaders Lions Club and Brooklyn Jefferson Lions Club; and
    WHEREAS, Lion Mac Emerson Campbell has spearheaded hands-on service projects for Brooklyn Metropolis Lions Club, Inc. locally, within the
    New York tristate area, nationally and globally following natural disasters in Jamaica, Haiti, Guyana and Antigua and Barbuda; and
    WHEREAS, Lion Mac Emerson Campbell is a graduate of MD-20 Lions Leadership Institute, Advance Lions Leadership Institute (AALI) Canada
    and Lions University with a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in 2018; and
    WHEREAS, Lion Mac Emerson Campbell has attended numerous International Conventions, USA- Canada Leadership Forums, MD-20
    Conventions, Lions Day at the United Nations and District 20-K1 Mid-Winter Conventions; and
    WHEREAS, Lion Mac Emerson Campbell is the proud recipient of the following: awards from Lions Clubs International (LCI), MD 20 and District
    20-K1; including the Melvin Jones Fellow and the  International President’s Certificate; Robert J. Uplinger Award Distinguished Service Award,
    The Alexander T. Wells Distinguished Service Award, the Knights of the Blind Distinguished Service Award and has been honored with
    certificates of appreciation; by several District Governors; and
    WHEREAS, Lion Mac Emerson Campbell has received awards and citations at the Club level, including the President’s Appreciation Award;
    and
    NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT Brooklyn Metropolis Lions Club, Inc. is a club in good standing with Lions Club International;
    Multiple District 20 and District 20-K1; and endorses and fully supports Lion Mac Emerson Campbell as a Candidate for the office Second (2nd)
    Vice District Governor for the year 2022-2023; and
    RESOLVED that copies of this resolution have been transmitted to International President Douglas X. Alexander, PCC Timothy Jachlweski;
    MD20 Secretary; District 20-K1 Governor Anthony B Cochran, First Vice District Governor Ingrid Andrews- Campbell, Second Vice District
    Governor Antonio Robles, PCC Gloria Askew, PCC Deborah Harrison, Past District Governors, Cabinet Secretary, Cabinet Treasurer, Region
    and Zone Chairs, Club Presidents and Secretaries.
