The President, Board of Directors, Officers and Members of The Richmond Hill- South Ozone Park Lions Club, at the General meeting held
on November 1, 2021, unanimously voted, approved, and are thrilled to endorse Lion Romeo Hitlall for the office of Second Vice District
Governor to serve District 20-K1 for the upcoming Lionistic year, 2022-2023 and

Whereas Lion Romeo Hitlall is a member in good standing in his Club, and has demonstrated quality service, leadership, and dedication to
the cause of Lionism; and
Whereas Lion Romeo Hitlall became a member of the Richmond Hill-South Ozone Park Lions Club in year 2012; and

Whereas Lion Romeo Hitlall has previously served as President, Immediate Past President, a member of the Board of Directors, Chair of
multiple Committees; and

Whereas Lion Romeo Hitlall has served District 20-K1 as Zone Chair, Co-Chair of Health Awareness Committee, Chair of the District Alert
Team, Chair of Technology Committee, Chair of the Phagwah Parade Committee, Member of Global Leadership Team, Member of Family
and Friends Day Committee, among other positions; and
Whereas Lion Romeo Hitlall has served, as Sgt at Arms, Chair of Camp Badger, and received the LCI Presidential Award for his service, in
addition; and
Whereas Lion Romeo Hitlall is a certified Guiding Lion, graduate of the MD20 Lions Leadership Institute; and
Whereas Lion Romeo Hitlall has received the International President’s Medal, is a Progressive Melvin Jones Fellow, Lion of the Year,
numerous membership awards, certificates of appreciation, lifetime achievement award, many District 20-K1, and club awards and
recognitions: and
Whereas Lion Romeo Hitlall has attended several District 20-K1 Mid-Winter Conventions, MD20 Conventions, International Conventions, as
well as USA/Canada Lions Leadership Forums, countless district trainings and workshops: and

Whereas Lion Romeo Hitlall has participated in Night Out Against Crime, in conjunction with the 106, 102 & 113 Precincts, and donated
over 2,000 Hot Dogs and drinks to participants: and

Whereas Lion Romeo Hitlall has led the Richmond Hill-South Ozone Park Lions Club to organize a Christmas Tree Lighting in Richmond Hill
in December 2020 and 2021; and
Whereas Lion Romeo Hitlall and the Richmond Hill-South Ozone Park Lions Club have distributed Thanksgiving turkeys to residents of
Queens during 2020 and 2021; and
Whereas Lion Romeo Hitlall and his Club donated and distributed toys and dinner to more than five hundred children during Christmas: and
BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED that the Richmond Hill-South Ozone Park Lions Club endorses and fully supports Lion Romeo Hitlall as a
Candidate for the office of Second Vice District Governor to serve District 20-K1 for the upcoming year 2022-2023 and be it further
Resolved, that copies of this Resolution be transmitted to International President Douglas X. Alexander, PCC Timothy Jachlewski, MD-20
Multiple District Secretary Treasurer, District 20-K1 District Governor, Anthony Cochran, First Vice District Governor Ingrid Andrews-
Campbell, Second Vice District Governor Antonio Robles, Past District Governors, Cabinet Secretary, Cabinet Treasurer, Region and Zone
Chairs, Club Presidents and Secretaries.
