CAMBIANDO VIDAS A TRAVES DE LAS MILAS
El Club de Leones de Queens Las Américas donó dos sillas de ruedas a la León Berenice
Fernández del Club de Leones Espaillat de Santo Domingo en la República Dominicana, que luego
fueron proporcionadas a dos ciudadanos necesitados, una cuya pierna fue amputada
recientemente y la segunda a un individuo que resultó gravemente herido en un accidente
automovilístico y necesitará múltiples operaciones en sus piernas.

CHANGES LIVES ACROSS THE MILES
Queens Las Americas Lions Club donated two wheelchairs to Lion Berenice Fernandez of the Santo
Domingo Espaillat Lions Club in the Dominican Republic. They were then presented to two needy
citizens, one whose leg was recently amputated and the second to an individual who was seriously
injured in a car accident and will need multiple operations on his legs. (See photos in Spanish
Section).
