CLUBS SPREAD THE JOY AND MAGIC OF THE SEASON
Brooklyn Metropolis Lions Club
13 th Anniversary & Thanksgiving Services

Brooklyn Metropolis Lions and
Leos got off to a “GREAT
START” as they celebrated their
13 th Charter Anniversary. The
club’s Anniversary service was
held at St. Stephen & St.
Martins Episcopal Church. The
Lions and Leos attended the
church service. Lion Ormond
Brathwaite brought greetings on
behalf of the District Governor. Metropolis Lions and Leos at their 13 th

After the church service the
Lions and Leos ended the day
with service to The Brownsville
Metropolis Lions and Leos pose with hampers Community Café where they
served Thanksgiving meals to
the East New York Community.

November was a hive of
activities as the active and
energized Lions and Leos
donated 100 hampers with all
the trimmings needed to have a President Lion Annette serves the community
Thanksgiving meal to
community organizations, and
to needy individuals. The Lions
also donated coats to children at
a homeless shelter.
The Leos donated warm
Metropolis Leos packing the hampers
clothing and toiletries to needy
children and to the District
Leos’ Veterans Clothing Drive.
They also participated in the
District 20-K1 Community Metropolis Leos pose serve refreshments
Gardening and had a successful after the church service
“Miss Chocolate Fundraising
Event.
