Dear Lions Supporters and Volunteers,

Please consider volunteering this upcoming Lions Fall Work Day!

Like so many programs at VISIONS, VCB has had its challenges due to the pandemic. We
had to make the decision to suspend all programs at the beginning of the pandemic but
were able to resume in-person services in August.

With strict guidelines in place, VCB successfully hosted a 3-week summer program
serving 23 visually impaired children and their families. We also hosted 2-weekend
programs for older adults serving 19 participants. We have done our best to adapt in

these challenging times and we are now ready to forge ahead.

As we move into a new fiscal year, we remain committed to providing in-person services
safely by diligently following the guidelines in place. We are confident we are prepared
to weather a second wave if it should in fact happen, but we cannot ignore the

overwhelming requests from our participants who desperately need a place to connect
and socialize with their peers in a safe environment.
