Rego Park - Forest Hills Lions Club
RESOLUTION
The President, Board of Directors, Officers and Members of the Rego Park-Forest Hills Lions Club, at their November 15th, 2022, meeting
unanimously voted approved and are pleased to endorse Lion Antonio Robles as a candidate for the office of District Governor to serve the
Lions of District 20-K1 during the Lionistic Year 2023-2024, and
WHEREAS Lion Antonio, is a member in good standing in the Rego Park-Forest Hills Lions Club, District 20-K1, and has
demonstrated Leadership, Dedication, and Quality service to the cause of Lionism, and
WHEREAS Lion Antonio Robles became a member of the Rego Park-Forest Hills Lions Club in 2001 and has served the Club with
distinction and honor for 21 years, and
WHEREAS Lion Antonio Robles has served, two terms, with honor as President, Member of the Board of Directors, Secretary,
Treasurer, and various offices of the Rego Park-Forest Hills Lions Club, and
WHEREAS Lion Antonio Robles has served District 20-K1 as Zone Chair, Guiding Lion, Region Chair, Regional Manager, Lion
Quest Committee Chair, Public Relations Co-Chair, United Nations Day Committee Chair, Kings and Queens E-News Latino Editor, and
WHEREAS Lion Antonio Robles has further served District 20-K1 as Member of the Alert Team, Labor Day Parade Committee,
GMT/GLT Workshop Round Table Committee, Mid-Winter Committee, Women and Family in Lionism Committee, World-Wide Induction Day
Committee, Tri State Induction Day Committee, Hearing and Speech Committee, Governor’s Testimonial Committee, and
WHEREAS Lion Antonio has served on of the GLT, and his presently serving has Co-chair of the Global Membership Approach Team,
and
WHEREAS Lion Antonio Robles also served on the District’s Think Tank Committee during the 2019-2020 Lionistic Year, and served
as District 20-K1 Cabinet Treasurer under the Leadership of two District Governors, and

WHEREAS Lion Antonio served District 20K-1 as 2 Vice District Governor during the year 2021-2022, and is currently serving as

1 Vice District Governor for the year 2022-2023, and
WHEREAS Lion Antonio Robles has served at MD20 New York State and Bermuda Lions Conventions as Sargent-of-Arms, and on
the Credentials and Nomination Committee, and
WHEREAS Lion Antonio Robles is a Graduate of MD20 Leadership Institute, and attended the Second Vice District Governor

Training in Binghamton New York, and attended the recent 1 Vice District Governors classes, and
WHEREAS Lion Antonio Robles has attended many International Conventions, USA-Canada Forums, many MD20 Conventions,
several Lions Day at the United Nations, and District 20-K1, Mid-Winter Conventions, and attended Lions International 2020 Virtual
Convention, and District 20-K1, Mid-Winter Virtual Convention in 2020, and attended the recent International Convention in Montreal,
Quebec, Canada in 2022, and
WHEREAS Lion Antonio Robles is a Progressive Melvin Jones Fellow, recipient of the Robert J. Uplinger Award, the Alexander T.
Wells Distinguished Service Award, several Lions International President Awards, Lion of the Year Awards, Lions Clubs and Community
Service Awards, and
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the Rego Park-Forest Hills Lions Club endorses and fully supports Lion Antonio Robles as a
Candidate for the Office of District Governor to serve District 20-K1 for the upcoming year 2023-2024; and be it further
RESOLVED, that copies of this resolution be transmitted to International President Brian E. Sheehan; PCC Timothy Jachlewski,
MD20 Multiple District Secretary-Treasurer; District 20-K1, District Governor Ingrid Andrews-Campbell; Second Vice District Governor,
Romeo Hitlall; Past District Governors; Cabinet Secretary; Cabinet Treasurer; Region and Zone Chairs, Club Presidents; and Secretaries.
