Marriott Aruba Celebrates Housekeeping Week

week began with a congratulatory event for the entire house-
keeping team, where everyone received a “Housekeeping
Week” t-shirt and a full itinerary outlining the week’s activi-
ties.

As the week progressed, various activities were organized
every day, including a “big breakfast” day in the ballroom,
followed by an exciting Bingo game with prizes. On the third
and fourth days, the entire team boarded a bus to enjoy an

“island tour,” visiting different well-known monuments and
tourist spots on our beautiful island.

Additionally, this celebration week included a “commitment

to clean” activity where each associate could present the
different ways and methods they would use as their commit-
ment to themselves and the hotel. Marriott International is
known for its various worldwide procedures, and one of them,

the “commitment to clean,” is reinforced from the moment
an employee begins their journey at Marriott Aruba. This
procedure involves every associate, at every level, commit-
ting themselves to maintaining every area of the hotel clean.

To conclude this fantastic week, a tremendous “Housekeeping
Olympics” event was organized, featuring interactive games
in areas of speed, strategy, and cleanliness. It was surely a

week filled with joy and happiness for our fantastic house-
