Ubisoft announces

Assassin’s Creed

updates and future plans

THIS weekend was full of news and updates about

various games as Ubisoft Forward 2022 took place
on the 10 of September. During this all-digital

conference, the Assassin’s creed showcase was
the most anticipated, and it did not disappoint for

Assassin’s Creed fans.

Ubisoft has officially announced their next
Assassin’s Creed game, Mirage and it will take

place in 9 -century Baghdad. The player will take
th
the role of the assassin named Basim, he made an
appearance in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage will launch for PC, PS4,

PS5, Xbox Series and Xbox One through Epic
Games, Ubisoft and Luna next year.

But that’s not all, Ubisoft is developing the first

open-world version of Assassin’s Creed, currently
dubbed as “Jade” for mobile. It’s set in Ancient
China, and players will be able to customize their
characters. Unfortunately, no exact release dates

are set yet.

Upcoming Japanese x Cyberpunk

side-scroll stealth game

IF you’re into Japanese style and cyberpunk games, then
this might be a game for you, no matter which platform you

play on. W.R.K.S Games recently announced their upcoming
side-scroll stealth game, set in Japan inspired universe of
Katana-Ra, Shinobi Rising. Shinobi Rising will be the first
PC game set in the Katana-Ra Universe, where feudal Japan

is fused with futuristic cyberpunk. This game will be a 3D
side-scroll built in Unreal Engine 5. It features stealth, and
detective style gameplay. The main character must solve
mysteries and find the culprit. Shinobi Rising will be released

on February 14 2023 for PC, followed by PS5, Xbox series,
Switch and mobile platforms throughout the year.
