ATA Honors Donald & Susan Hearn as Emerald Ambassadors

ORANJESTAD - Recently the Aruba Tourism
Authority honored Mr. Donald and Mrs. Su-
san Hearn of Ontario, Canada as Emerald
Ambassadors of Aruba, as a token of ap-
preciation for visiting the island for 43 con-
secutive years. The symbolic honorary title
is presented on behalf of the Minister of
Tourism, Transportation, Primary Sector and
Culture Mr. O. Oduber as a token of ap-
preciation for guests visiting the island for
35-or-more consecutive years.
Ms. Darline de Cuba representing the Aru-
ba Tourism Authority, Visitors care Liaison,
bestowed the commemorative Emerald
Coin and Emerald Certificate to the honor-
ees at La Quinta on behalf of the Govern-
ment of Aruba.
Ms. Darline S. De Cuba thanked Donald
and Susan for choosing Aruba as their va-
cation destination and as their home away
from home for so many years. Mrs. Ika Ar-
ends was also present at the ceremony
and handed out some gifts to the honor-
ees and also thanked them on behalf of
La Quinta Beach Resort and the people of
Aruba. The honored guest stated that the
main reasons for returning to Aruba were
the weather, the restaurants, the safety,
and most of all, the people.

hold a special place in the heart of
