Get Directions to a Visit from Your Current Location
From the rolling calendar:
1. Tap and hold Today
2. Tap Launch Map to View Days Visits. A map displays with green push pins of each visit location for the day.
3. Tap the green push pin to which you want to map directions. A message displays asking if you want to get directions
from this address.
4. Tap From Current GPS Location. The directions display.
Note: Tap the X Close button to the right of Directions to close the text and view more of the map.
5. Tap Back to return to the rolling calendar.
Get Directions to a Visit From Another Address
From the rolling calendar:
1. Tap and hold Today
2. Tap Launch Map to View Days Visits. A map displays with green push pins of each visit location for the day.
3. Tap the green push pin to which you want to map directions. A message displays asking if you want to get directions
to this address.
4. Tap From Another Address. The map displays again.
5. Tap the green push pin from which you want to map directions. A message displays asking if you want to get
directions from this address.
6. Tap OK. The map displays.
Note: Tap the X Close button to the right of Directions to close the text and view more of the map.
7. Tap Back to return to the rolling calendar.
Escort/Guard Designated Building
• Intake staff will generate a Visit Alert if patient’s address indicates need for escort or guard. When you
sync your Android Tablet, you will see a red exclamation point next to the name of any patient with a
visit alert. Check the alerts so that you can schedule the visit according to availability of escort/guard.
Accessing Medical Records Outside of a Visit
You will have access to your patient’s medical records if they meet one of the three criteria:
1. You have a visit on your rolling calendar for that patient in the next 7 days.
2. You have seen this patient in HCHB in the last 7 days.
3. You are listed as a Case Manager/Team Member on that patient’s chart.
Steps to access Medical Records outside of a visit:
1. Click on your Menu button (3 dots) and then click on Medical Records:
2. You’ll find a list of patients that meet the above criteria. Once you click on that patient, you should be able to
access their information.
o History- viewing
o Features-doing (Use this section to add Coordination Notes, add New Orders to update Calendar/ freq,
add labs, add meds)
