When we design a PowerPoint slides, we must consider the amount of
text that should be on a slide. No one can read a slide with so much text on it
since the fonts will be so small to fit all words. The audience will be busy
reading our slides instead of listening to our presentation. When people are
presented information for a very short time, they will remember images
better than words (Reynolds, 2008). That’s why we should not include all
texts on a slide. We can prepare written documents or handouts in case the
audience asks for the copy of the slides. Good slides don’t contain much
information; they just support the presentation. If the audience asks for the
copy of the slides, we’d better prepare the written documents or handout
which contains complete and detailed information good slides will be of little
use of the presenter.

f. Images
Images can represent the message of the presentation. However, we
must be selective in choosing the images. We can take our own high-quality
photographs with our digital camera, purchase professional stock
photography, or use photograph available on the internet. We must avoid
using low resolution photographs, PowerPoint Clip Art, or other cartoonish
line art. The use of cartoonish image or template image on PPT will make the
