Ms. Sri is a 46 years old patient in the emergency room. with frequent infections,

bruising and excess bleeding, unexplained fevers, headaches and unintentional weight
loss. She was tested for complete blood cell count and peripheral blood smear. It was
indicated that she suffers from Leukemia. Doctor sent her to do chemotherapy. Discuss
what risk factor or complication may occur to Ms. Sri.

Reynand is a 7 years old patient. He is admitted to the hospital due to a high fever. The

temperature is 40 °C. the fever has lasted for 3 days. At night he also had chills. There
are tiny red spots on the root of her mouth. He also had difficulty in swallowing food
that caused him lose his appetite. The doctor gave him a rapid strep test and it was

diagnosed as strep throat. The doctor gave him antibiotic for the treatment. Discuss
possible risk if the strep throat does not get treated and possible alternative treatment
for strep throat.
