Kim : Hmm… 9) ___________________________ (stating hobby – photography). I like to walk around
and take pictures of nature or interesting buildings. 10) ___________________________ (asking
about hobby)?

Kim : That’s so cool. Maybe you can play sometime at one of the campus events.
Harry : Maybe! So far, 11) ___________________________ (asking for a favorite place in campus)?
Kim : The library terrace. It has a nice view, and it’s quiet. I like sitting there with coffee. You?
Harry : 12) ___________________________ (stating favorite spot in campus -the little café next to the
student union). Great bagels, and it’s always buzzing with people. Good for people-watching.
Kim : Haha, sounds fun. I’ll check it out.
[An event organizer walks by and waves at the group, signalling the event is about to begin.]
Harry : Looks like they’re getting started.
Kim : Yes. It was really nice talking with you, Harry.
Harry : Same here, Kim. Good luck this semester—and maybe I’ll see you around campus?
Kim : I hope so. Enjoy the event.

b. Go around the classroom and interview your friends. Use the expressions we learned before.
c. Find someone with the information on the board below. Write the student’s name below each
information. You should not have the same name twice on your board.
