To help talking lengthily during introduction, add some details related to the what you
are talking about. Below are some details you may offer while doing self-introduction.
1. Talking lengthily about name
Options:
✓ What – From what language is your name?
What is the meaning of your name?
✓ Who – Who gives you your name?
Example:
My name is Aisha Wijaya; Aisha for short. Aisha is an Arabic word meaning alive and well,
while Wijaya is taken from Javanese language meaning victory. My mother told me that I
got my name from my uncle. I am happy with my name as it has a great and good prayer.
2. Talking lengthily about age
Options:
✓ When – When were you born?
✓ Where – Where were you born?
Age category – In what category of people age are you; teenager, adult, early 20s, late 50s,
middle age, elderly?
Example:
I was born in 2004 and raised in Bandung, West Java. This year, I will turn 21. People say
that 20s is an age that they enjoy the most because people in my age are still young and
