               Here  are  some  short  example  conversations  to  practice  offering  help  in  English.  Find  a
               partner  to  practice  and  take  a  role.  Next,  switch  roles.  Finally,  make  up  your  own
               conversations.


               Security       : Hello. How can I help you, Ma'am?


               Visitor        : I’m looking for an ATM.

               Security       : You should go to the front gate of UMY. You will find ATMs on your left.


               Visitor        : Okay. Thank you.

               Security       : My pleasure, Ma’am.





               Security       : Good morning, Sir. May I help you?

               Visitor        : How do I get to the lift?

               Security       : I’d be happy to show you how to get there.


               Visitor        : Thank you. That would be great.



               Visitor        : Could you help me, please?


               Security       : Of course, Ma’am. What can I do for you?


               Visitor        : I don't understand what the taxi driver is trying to say. Could you translate it for
                              me?


               Security       : Sure. I'd be happy to help you.

               Visitor        : Thank you. I would really appreciate that.
