F. The beach near the hotel was disgusting. It was covered in litter and old boats.

sometimes he even shouted at the guests!
I. The sun didn’t shine for the whole time we were there. It poured down for almost
two weeks.
J. You should have seen the garden. It was a building site! They hadn’t finished
landscaping it!

What was happening that is so different from what the brochure promised?
With your partner, pick ONE or TWO out of those 10 complaints and make a dialogue telling about
what was happening during your stay there that made you dissatisfied with the resort service
and/or facility.
Here is a simulation to inspire you;
Anne : Hey Paul…. You didn’t come to Emma’s birthday party last week.
Paul : Yeah…. I was travelling to Barbados Island.
Anne : Wow… that must be awesome.
Paul : Well, not as awesome as its ads.
Anne : Really? What happened?
Paul : I was staying at Coconut Court for the brochure was so promising.
Anne : You didn’t get what the brochure sells?
Paul : Ough…not at all. Everything was a mess.
Anne : Was it that terrible?
Paul : I mean… the brochure clearly said that it has a very well-kept garden with over 300
species of plants and flower. I was waking up early for the jetlag so I decided to take a
walk to this so called beautiful garden. But all I found was a building site.
Anne : Building site? What do you mean?
Paul : They hadn’t finished landscaping it.
Anne : Oww... that’s disappointing.
Paul : You can say that again!
