 You can guess the meaning of a word from the other words in the sentence.

 Sometimes, you need to read several sentences in order to guess the meaning of an
unknown word.

Example:

“We will purchase the half fare card. So we can get half price in all transportation modes by
using the card. I heard that the price of half fare card goes up. Is it true?”

You can guess from the keywords ‘the half fare card’, ‘the price’ and ‘goes up’ that the word
typed bold ‘purchase’ probably means to get something by exchanging it with money.
Therefore, the meaning of word purchase is: to buy.

Best Town for Exploring Jungfrau Region

We will visit Jungfrau Region in early August. We would like to take train to
Jungfraujoch as well as do some hiking (Eiger Trail). We are going to spend 3-4
nights in the area. What town is best to explore this area? Leaning

Samas13 towards Lauterbrunnen, Wengen or Grindelwald, but I am not sure if there are
better options.
