VIII. Beside the historical aspects, being a lawyer is not an easy process. People must attend four
years college or university to get Bachelor’s degree. After they graduated, they must attend three
years in the School of Law.
The struggle of a lawyer does not stop there. They have to equip themselves with qualities and
abilities to compete in their field because there are 40.000 students graduated from the School of
Law every year. These reasons also lead to suicide. Based on a research, male lawyers aged 20-64
have bigger risk of suicide than males with other professions.
Not only suicide, lawyers also have greater risk of suffering cancer and cardiac troubles. It
becomes obvious that being lawyers is not an easy thing. The reasons are the demand of
beingqualified lawyers and also the threat of health problems. It can be assumed that people need to
have not only intelligence but also stronger mentality and good time management to be lawyers.
