                                                     Dialogue Order
Miss Fatima : “Of course. I just want to know any possibilities.”
Ns. Marwah : “I understand that very well, Miss. This type of wound having dry necrotic
tissue look serious. But we have a plan for helping the healing process.
I’ll explain the type of care we’ll be using and why it’s the best approach
for you. Does it sound okay?"
Miss Fatima : “Thank you. Is there any risk that might occur?”
Ns. Marwah : “Assalammu’alaikum, Miss Fatima. I am Nurse Marwah. I understand 1
that you might have some questions about your wound care. How do you
                                  feel about it?”
Miss Fatima : “Will it be painful when the dressing is removed?”
Ns. Marwah : “Yes, certainly. So, the type of wound care we’re focusing on is aimed at
treating what we call dry necrotic tissue, which is the hard, dark area on
your wound. Our main objective here is to keep the area clean and help
your body form healthy tissue underneath."
Miss Fatima : “Wa’alaikumsalam. Frankly speaking, I am a bit worried. The wound
                                  looks bad.”
Miss Fatima : “I see. How will the care be doing?”
Ns. Marwah : “The area around the wound will be cleaned gently using a special
dressing called a dry sterile dressing. This type of dressing protects the
wound from germs and keeps it dry. We’ll check the wound regularly to
make sure there’s no sign of infection or inflammation.”
Ns. Marwah : “It will hurt a little bit. Please tell me if you feel any sharp pain so that I
will adjust to make you comfortable. We can do it slowly and gently.”
Ns. Marwah : “So, the type of wound care we’re focusing on is aimed at treating what

tenderness or a bit of redness around the wound, but we’ll be watching
closely for any signs of infection, like increased redness, swelling, or
warmth around the area. If you notice any of these changes at home,
                                  please let us know immediately.”
Miss Fatima : “Alright. Is it okay to be dry like that?”

Let’s work together to help your wound heal as smoothly as possible. If
you have any more questions, feel free to ask.”
