It's super important, to say the
least, that we be perfectly
comfortable in order for us to get
our best work out, yes? Or is it?
Does comfort equate to perfect
words? It really depends on the
writer or artist. Some do their best
work at a well-organized desk,
some (some = me) do their best
thinking and writing sitting in
some level of chaos when it comes
to their desk.
It's been said that Kurt Vonnegut
wrote from the comfort (??) of his
hardwood floor; I can't even judge,
I've packed my notebooks and a
bottle of wine and sat, fully clothed,
in the tub to get a scene finished.
