2021 is upon us!

I'm honestly not even sure how to go about wrapping up this year. It's been hell,

on many different levels, for a whole lot of us. I'm personally coming out of this
year trying to remember to be thankful for what I have, but I also recognize that
not everyone has been so lucky. Emotionally, I've learned a bunch this year;
reinforcing empathy and remembering to also enjoy the blessings you've been

given is an interesting balancing act. I hope you've all come closer than ever to
mastering it, as I like to think I have. But we can talk more about that next
month, when things are new and a bit more hopeful.

So, here we are - the final Sami issue of 2020. It's only been a couple of months
since I started this thing, but it's renewed my spirit and creativity. I'm almost
always wondering what I'm going to share in next month's issue, and I love it.
You guys are keeping me on my toes just by reading, so thank you! It's become

one more reason to be hopeful and excited about the coming year.

This month's issue, as always, was a pleasure to create. However, it made me
realize that I need to expand my personal stock photo collection, because oh man

- while stock photo sites like Scopio and Shutterstock are fantastic sites, I feel like
I lose a little originality every time I use a photo I didn't take. While there are
certain circumstances I can't control (Book Beau of the Month, for example), I'd
like to be able to share as much original content as I can. Turns out, you guys are

a good influence on me! ;)

On that note, have a super blessed holiday season. Sending all my love to you and
