Title: He Bangs
Trope: Friends to Lovers
Short Synopsis: A musician in her mid-
thirties, working at a musical instrument
store while also focusing on her creative
career, crushes hard on the Drum Dept.
Manager (and vice versa!) when they learn
they've got amazing chemistry both in and
out of the store. Things take an interesting
turn when she learns that the dude who is
quickly becoming her best friend, biggest
fan, and confidante is polyamorous. What a
world to navigate while trying to make your
dreams come true!
Final Word Count: 25210
This year was a major drop in terms of word count, but I refuse to call it a fail. The point of
NaNoWriMo is to challenge yourself, put words to paper (or screen) and create better
writing habits from day to day. And, despite the hectic schedule I'd been keeping at the
day job, I definitely created better writing habits this month. To everyone who didn't cross
the finish line in November, worry not - there is always more time to write! Keep on
plugging away, I know I will!
