Q: You Stopped Playing Shows in 2015. Do you
plan to get out there again?
Yep, our last show was at SPiN in New York
City. Both guitarist (Krystal) and bassist
(me) moved to Texas, so we've sort of
broken up for the time being. Combine that
with the COVID-19 pandemic holding
steady as a thorn in everybody's sides, it'd
probably be awhile before we had another
show. But we love being on stage, so don't
count us out!
Q: Is anything next for Running Thoughts?
Q: Who are your biggest influences? We're writing tunes in between our
individual projects, so while I wouldn't say
You name it! We create based on what to expect anything soon, it isn't too far
speaks to us, we can only hope it resonates fetched to say that 2021 might see Running
with others. Our influences (individually Thoughts release a new tune or two!
and as a band) include The Ramones,
Fanny, The Clash, The Runaways, Suzi
Quatro, Black Flag, Talking Heads.
Steering away from the 60's/70's rock
artists, additional vocal influences include
Joan Jett, Nancy Wilson, Etta James, Pat
Benatar, Debbie Harry, Ronnie Spector,
Darlene Love, Stevie Nicks, and the Beach
Boys. That's not to say we haven't been
influenced by other artists or by these
artists in some other way, but the artist
above certainly took part in laying the
groundwork for who we would become as
artists.
Q: Tell Us About Your Only EP.
What fun! Our only EP, titled Fcuked was
