I'm proud to share my band's story with you all in these pages. It's not much, but I present it
with love. Friends, meet Running Thoughts.
Q: Tell everybody how Running Thoughts started? Q: How did Running Thoughts become the
band's name?
Somewhere around 2008, my sister and I
were sitting with a couple of friends in a It came about as a tribute to friends of

us to pick up and play, but it also is a
pretty spot on description of how our
minds (collectively and individually) work
when it comes to our creative process.

idea to start a band. However, that wasn't
quite the beginning. We wouldn't make it
onstage until 2010. The original line up
consisted of myself, my sister Krystal, and our
bestie/soul sister Lorraine. We played a couple
of shows in Brooklyn, but eventually
Lorraine's dreams took her to Puerto Rico.
Our friend Ozzie, the Wizard of All
Percussion (we named him that, but only
because it's true), stepped in as drummer and
that's when the amazing punk madness truly
started.
