Fernando Fernández WAD Member, Fernando Fernández has made waves on the
international stage, receiving one of the highest honors in the field of
Awarded Criminal “ forensic investigation. At the Forensic Investigation Congress and Expert
Investigation of the Year 2024 Awards, held on September 21st in Cancún, Mexico,
Expert of the Fernández was awarded not only the prestigious Forensic Excellence
Year Medal but also the title of 2024 Criminal Investigation Expert of the
Year, standing out among forensic experts from over a dozen countries.

“This achievement comes at a very meaningful time in both my
professional and personal life. We sometimes forget how far we’ve
come in our careers, but receiving this recognition reminds me that we
must continue growing and giving our best, for Puerto Rico and for
those who trust in our work,” said Fernando Fernández.

The event, which brought together leading forensic investigation
experts from countries such as Colombia, Argentina, Spain, Peru, Chile,
and Mexico, among others, highlights Puerto Rico’s prominence on the
global forensic stage. With over 20 years of experience, Fernández has
shown unwavering commitment to justice and truth, which has been key
to earning these accolades.
