Dear Esteemed Members of the World Association of Detectives,

As the holiday season draws near, I wish each of you and your families
a time of peace, joy, and safety. It is in moments like these that we are
reminded of the importance of connection—not just with our loved ones,
but also with the remarkable network of friends and colleagues we have
within WAD.

Our association is unique in its foundation. We are not bound by politics
or divisions; instead, we are united by trust, respect, and a shared
commitment to excellence in our profession. We are, above all, a family
a global community that supports and uplifts one another through the
challenges and triumphs of our work and personal lives.

Looking to the future, 2025 is shaping up to be an extraordinary year
for WAD. In April, we will gather in Portugal for our Mid-Term Meeting,
where we will continue to strengthen the ties that define our organization.
This gathering will be a crucial opportunity to exchange ideas, renew
friendships, and foster the collaboration that keeps WAD at the forefront
of our industry.

Later in the year, we will celebrate a milestone that few organizations
achieve: our 100th Anniversary. This momentous occasion in Chicago
this September will not only honor a century of excellence but also set
the stage for the next hundred years of our shared journey. It will be a
celebration of our rich history and a reflection of the incredible future we
are building together.

As we approach these events and close out the year, I encourage you to
take a moment to appreciate all that we have accomplished together.
Your dedication, professionalism, and friendship make WAD the thriving
organization it is today.
