HTC CEO Yves Maitre stepped down after just less than a year in the role, while
chairwoman Cher Wang has once again assumed the position, Taiwanese outlet
Central News Agency reported. Maitre resigned without warning, citing

personal reasons related to work-life balance, particularly an apparent
inability to visit family due to Covid-19 travel restrictions. Wang was HTC's CEO
for four years before Maitre's appointment in September 2019.

22 Tata Power and Tata Motors join

hands to set up Indiaʼs largest solar

carport

In a bid to help India reach its target of reduction in carbon emission by switching
to clean energy, Tata Power has signed a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with
Tata Motors to set up India's largest carport. The solar carpet will have a
capacity of 6.2 MWp and it will help Tata Motors cut down 1.6 lakh ton of

carbon emissions in its lifetime. The solar carport will be set up at the Tata Motors
factory in Chikhali, Pune.

23 Twitter confirms account of PM

Modiʼs personal website hacked

Twitter India today conrmed that the account of Prime Minister Narendra
Modi's personal website was hacked early Thursday. The matter came to light
after a series of cryptic tweets from the account that urged everyone to
donate to the PM Cares fund through cryptocurrency. The tweet also

mentioned a crypto wallet address. "At this time, we are not aware of
additional accounts being impacted," a Twitter spokesperson said.
