Kaitlyn McCann is very excited to play the role of Mary Sunshine in this production of
Chicago. She has enjoyed being a part of the Drama Club since her freshman year
including musical performances in Mamma Mia, Oklahoma! and The Addams Family,
along with the plays Deliver Us From Mama, and the lead role in Alice in Wonder-
land. This is Kaitlyn’s senior year and she continues to be very involved in the music
department at WHS as a member of Chorale, Company D, Women’s Ensemble and as
an alto saxophone player in the band. Outside of school, Kaitlyn enjoys traveling with
her family and hopes to visit her 50th state this summer. She would like to thank ev-
eryone in the cast and crew for working hard to make this musical the best it could
be. Kaitlyn hopes you enjoy the show!
Sophia Needham has been a member of the musical pit for 3 years, playing the
trumpet in Oklahoma, The Addams Family, and now Chicago. Outside of the musicals
she participates in the school’s jazz band, symphonic band, marching band, and pep
band. Her favorite pit memories are getting candy thrown at the orchestra, sponta-
neous jam sessions, and only playing in the actual pit once in 3 years.
Emily Rahman is a senior at Westlake High School and is so excited to be a part of
Chicago. This is Emily’s first show at Westlake High School and her first show ever.
This is Emily’s first time participating in Westlake’s Drama Club. Outside of this
production Emily is an officer of the senior class, model u.n., and a member of both
NHS and NEHS. She is also a member of SADD club and other clubs at Westlake
High School. Emily is extremely grateful to be a part of this production and is so
excited for her loved ones to come see it. She has enjoyed the connections she has
made so far and values all of her friendships she has made with the cast. Emily
hopes everyone who comes to support to see her in the chorus enjoys the show and
is as excited as the rest of the cast is.
Hannah Rowe This is Hannah’s second show for the Demon Drama Club Stage Crew.
Her first show was The Addam’s Family in the spring of 2021. Hannah’s favorite
memory was going to Olive Garden after the final Addam’s Family performance with
Sam Dean, Carmela, and Michelle. She was happy to participate in both shows, and
hopes everyone in the audience enjoys the show!
Haylee Scaggs is a senior at Westlake and is incredibly excited to play Mary Sun-
shine. This is Haylee’s sixth show at Westlake High School and her second lead. You
may have previously seen her in The Addams Family last year as Morticia Addams.
She was also in The Wizard of Oz (Munchkin), Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor
Dreamcoat (chorus member), and did crew for Mama Mia!, Oklahoma!, and Deliver
Us From Mama. She hopes you enjoy the show!
Sydney Scaggs is a Senior and one of the Drama Club Officers. She is excited to be
in the cast of Chicago playing one of the merry murderesses (Annie). Sydney is an
officer in Chorale and Company D, as well as the vice president of the band. Sydney
has been in many shows at the high school starting at the age of 8 as a munchkin in
the Wizard of Oz. She has also done several shows at Near West Theater including
Aida and Les Miserables. Sydney would like to thank Mrs. Butler and Mr. Warnke for
this opportunity and for their support over the years. She hopes everyone enjoys the
show!
