This has been an unusual year in the Design  Jack Williams has acquired a vast range of 3D computer modelling skills

        For those who remember the pre-CG (Computer Graphics)               Prop
        days  (primarily  before  the  release  of  Jurassic  Park),
        appreciating special effects also meant accepting a certain             A Film
        level of model making that has often been replaced by the
        latest in CG technology. While we a well-executed CG job can
        do wonders for a film, it’s oftentimes the models that really           Stanbury
        blow audiences away due to their more realistic appearance.

        Charlie Stanbury has always been fascinated by space

        concentrated on the potential for human exploration on
        the surface of Mars. His final solution is a prototype
        (pictured on the right) - a vehicular delivery system - is a
        concept that will transport and lay out all of the units
        (pods) that would enable temporary habitation on the  Mars
        surface of the red planet in order to carry out research.

        Charlie’s final piece has been finished in the style of the
        1980’s TV programme, Space 1999, and although very
 future: profiles  different to the work of Danny Jones, is similar in that his

        highly finished product is an excellent example of high
        class modelling. Charlie made full use of our CAD
        systems to make his final solution, both in terms of 3D
 design: danny jones | charlie stanbury | jack williams  computer modelling and subsequent in-house rapid
        prototyping.
