Remote Access
To remotely access the CHP, complete the following:
1. Open the OpenVPN GUI and again right click on the icon (white screen with lock).
Then click connect and allow the program to establish a VPN connection.
2. Open a browser in google chrome and go to the website https://connect.2-g.de, log
in with your username and password and click on direct access. You will see all CHPs
in your organizations AOR.
3. Now open the Ultra VNC viewer (Green Icon with eye)
4. Choose the asset you would like access on the website https://connect.2-g.de under
network, highlight the network address (unit must say Online in green) paste the
network address in the VNC viewer address bar. (see below) Picture 1A
5. Change the 0 in the network address to a .191 i.e. 9.20.149.191 to establish
connection. If more than 1 CHP is onsite, the last number will change from 1 to 2
and so on. No customer in the NES WES AOR has more than 3 CHPs online.
6. Click connect and watch the VNC viewer status box pop up indicating connection is
being established.
7. Enter the password to the CHP once the password box opens (123)
8. You will now be connected to the CHP see photo 1b below.
9. To access maintenance information, on the main screen, click on the Data button
seen in photo 1b. This will give all current data for the CHP.
10. When finished, simply exit from the screen and disconnect from the OpenVPN GUI
program.
