Utilizing a razor knife cut a hole in the rear of the box 2 to 3 inches higher than the top of the SCR brick
you will be cleaning insert hose and confirm secure fit. If hose is loose in the hole utilize some additional
tape around the opening to ensure a sealed fit is accomplished.

**Vacuum should be cleaned out internally and filter confirmed cleaned and installed correctly.

To the left is a correctly installed vacuum , below is space cut
out for SCR brick to be installed.

Cleaning

Prior to any cleaning being performed confirmation of cleanliness MUST be done. Cleaning of Bricks
must be done in an open area with proper ventilation. All equipment must be sealed from any possible
ingress from airborne debris or contamination.
PPE must be adorned and utilized throughout this entire process.

Once all precautions are taken cleaning can begin. Inspect each brick for damage or wear while
cleaning, small chips or cracks are normal and expected.

Inspection should include:

• Large chipping or cracking
• Discoloration
• Packing missing or damaged
• Housing damage and flatness
• Center bars attached and welds secure
• Brick surrounding flat and true
