Preparation

                       Once the system has been shut down and allowed appropriate time to cool work can begin.
               Apply LOTO per documentation and remove bricks per manufacturer recommended procedure.

               When removing OXI and SCR bricks the location of where they were removed is required as a rotation is
               necessary to provide optimal SCR lifespan and operation. Below indicates recommended marking



               SCR Example























               Mark brick layers with exhaust flow, each layer of bricks should be kept together for reinstallation after
               cleaning is complete. Once all bricks are removed cleaning of empty SCR box should be followed out per
               manufacturer.


               Cardboard Box Preparation
               In order to contain any debris or contamination we need to form a containment area utilizing a box and
               vacuum, the following process will detail all preparation.

               Utilize a box 1.5 to 2 times large than the SCR or Oxidation bricks you are cleaning begin by sealing the
               box on all sides with packing tape seen below.
