Because heat will dissipate from the engine as it sits down, being prepared is required. As soon as the engine is
shut down and LOTO performed. While a technician is removing the engine guards, a second tech is preparing
the laser tool. Repeating steps 1.6 and 1.7 making any adjustments required as quickly as possible. Once values
are within tolerances above. Hot Alignment is complete and unit can be placed in operation. IW 8071 A0 has
information on runtime requirements between alignment checks.

               Hot Alignment check

Repeat steps 1.4 through 1.7. Starting with Engine to Gearbox attach your laser tool and take a reading. Make
any changes required to adjust for thermal growth or movement. Note changes made to shims, move laser tool
to gearbox to generator and repeat the process, making any changes required and note changes made. Perform
one final check of axial measurements. Once all measurements are confirmed and within tolerances your
alignment is complete, you can now move to documentation.

*Please note all values are max limit values, during hot alignment checks its advised to get engine to as close to
0 on all readings as possible. While performing a hot alignment a reading close to max limit on any of the above
               values should merit an adjustment.

               Documentation

Utilization of proper documentation is required to maintain a usable data base. below are the documents
required for proper Alignment and data capturing process, customer.innio.com should always be utilized for
the most up to date factory TAs.

Documents below for capturing data are held on SharePoint.
