After the Oil Change
Once the oil has been changed and the new oil is now in use, you will be required to
establish a new base for your oil changes. This can be found in document TA 1000-
0099C.
Product Change
While NES-WES can support with any product change, NES-WES is an authorized
distributor for Q8 oils. This partnership was created due to thousands of hours invested
in engineering studies and testing with Jenbacher engines along with the ability to
support and fast-growing product line. The NES-WES product support team has
completed multiple product changes thus ensuring a seamless process. Please contact
Sean Stahl at 267-554-7512 for more information about product specifications and lead
times. To know which Q8 product has been approved for your specific engine and gas
type, please refer to TA 1000-1109. For draining and testing procedures, please refer to
this document and sections titled; Oil Samples, Oil Change, and After the Oil Change.
Please note that when changing products an attempt must be made to get all existing oil
from the entire circuit, this includes the day tank. Tests have shown that more than 5
percent of residual oil is found to skew data results. To establish a baseline, please refer
to Jenbacher documentation that is called out in this management plan.
