Definition of reflexology

Reflexology is the application of appropriate pressure to specific points and areas
on the feet, hands, or ears. Reflexologists believe that these areas and reflex points
correspond to different body organs and systems, and that pressing them has a
beneficial effect on the organs and person's general health. It is known as Zone
therapy.

To cure a disease through Reflexology, do the following two steps:
1. Ascertain the involvement of specific organs in that ailment.
2. Locate the relevant reflex points in hands, feet and other parts of the body so as to
start the treatment.
From the drawings given in Figure 1, the 34 location of reflex points representing
various organs and different systems in the body is very clear. For example, if a
person is suffering from some problem concerning urinary system, he can start
giving pressure in the feet and hands on the reflex points of kidneys, ureters, urinary
bladder and the relevant area of spine, and likewise in other diseases.
