Hey, I mention cannolis from time to time and I wonder if some people do not know what a cannoli is and if you don’t — good, more for me. I am going to tell you anyway. A cannoli is a hard tube shaped crunchy pastry shell hilled with wonderful creamy goodness. After the shell is hand crafted and fried to perfection, the tube is hilled and powdered sugar is lovingly tapped onto the outside. They come in different sizes, mini to jumbo. If you live in and around New York and you go to a fancy Italian restaurant they usually have this enormous cannoli and they use it to hold all the other cannolis. Cannolis are truly disgusting. Don’t ever eat one. If you encounter one immediately send it to me for “processing.”
Unconditional Love
Although we often hear people say they love someone unconditionally I do not think “unconditional love” is available all of the time, even in the best relationships and even with your kids. Parents get mad at me when I say this but it’s not even possible to love your kids all the time — most of the time, yes, but when they are a real pain in the butt and swinging across the room on your last nerve, then no.
Quite frankly, if we take the position that being in love requires full time unconditional devotion, that is a recipe for disaster. It would mean that you would be giving your partner permission to behave
