I.II. The Black Nobility and its poisoned fruits
In the 12th century, the Black Nobility was composed of the
oligarchic families of Venice and Genoa that held the privileged trading
rights (monopolies). The European Black Nobility had earned its title
through dirty tricks. When the population revolted against the
monopolies in government, the leaders of the uprising were quickly
seized and brutally hanged. They use secret assassinations, murders,
bankrupting of opposing citizens or companies, kidnapping and rape.
The Black Nobility aristocracy achieved complete control over
Venice in 1171, when the appointment of the Doge was transferred to
the Great Council, which consisted of members of the commercial
aristocracy. Venice remained in their hands ever since, but the power

Bardi family of Florence funded the English Crown with 900000 gold
florins and this loan was never paid back.

and Ruspoli families, belonging to the Black Nobility, founded
the Order of Malta and today they still control it. They grant a form of
“sovereignty” in society to its high-level members like the
monarchs. Initially, one arm of the Order ran a hospital in the Holy

by Rome to protect Christians from the Muslim population. Their
symbol was the equal armed Maltese Cross. In reality, the Knights of
