During 1962 to 1965, Helen was a nursing instructress at Kingston General Hospital and
has fond memories of several of her colleagues at the time. She recalled using a baby 43
manikin ("Annie") for teaching similar to what's still being done today in Medical and
  Nursing Learning Centers.
Several years ago Helen visited the Museum of Health Care in Kingston (located in the
Anne Baillie Nursing Building where Helen had taught) and found an "Annie" on display.
She wondered if that was the same one she had used years before.
From 1963 to 1965 Bob entered his final year of medical school, followed by internship,
spending lots of time on the wards. Bob's recollection is that Helen was more famous than
him. The nurses on the ward would ask with astonishment - "are you Mrs. Card's
  husband?".
