have the attendant wanting to plug the Vista Cruiser in. They looked at the dangling plug and
assumed it was an electric car.
San Rafael was an interesting place, especially since “The Empire Strikes Back” was released
just at the end of the stay. George Lucas lived at the west end of San Rafael and Mike
remembers going with Helen to the United Market one day when the “LucasOne” licence plate
was spotted. Lucas must have been doing his grocery shopping. The Skywalker Ranch was also
only a few miles northwest.
