My Father’s Column and Early Safety Concerns
uring the war, my father wrote a monthly column for the Ajax Defense Industries Limited newsletter, The Commando
Doffering practical advice for the community. He addressed unique wartime challenges, like using gas masks in case of
invasion and preventing carbon monoxide poisoning from coal furnaces. His columns reflected the times and the constant
