Uncontrolled Airfield
At uncontrolled airfields with radio or FIZ, information is provided via radio
about activities. It is important to look carefully before taxiing onto a runway.
Uncontrolled Airfield with AFIS provides:
- Aerodrome Flight Information Service
- Flight Information Service
- Alerting services

1.5.6 Airport Information
When flying to a foreign airport, it is important that you know all the
information about it.
1.5.6.1 Airfield charts in VFG
In VFG, you can find information about all public airfields in Denmark.
Many private airfields are also listed under AD 4 in VFG. Remember, if flying to
a private airfield, you must contact the owner for permission.
We will now take a closer look at the information that VFG provides about a
very common public airport.
You can find VFG at NAVIAIR-AIM.
Type the ICAO location indicators in the search field.
Select the file with the “last name” “VAC”.
