Copenhagen Information has an east and a west frequency. Often it is the same

person who sits and speaks on both frequencies.

On the ICAO map you can see the division between the east and west

frequencies. When you fly, you change frequencies when you fly from one area

to the other.

If necessary, do a radio check after the frequency change.

When we fly over water, we would like to have assistance as soon as possible if

there is an accident and we have to make an emergency landing in the water.

Copenhagen information service is in Jutland assigned to the local Approach
service units. The airspace over Jutland is divided into local traffic areas, LTAs.

Here it is these Approach units in the relevant LTA that provide air traffic control

service as well as flight information service and alerting service for us.

Remember that even if you are flying in an LTA, you must request to enter the

part of the LTA that consists of the control zone and TMA (terminal area).

7.2.2.4 Position reports

The communication en-route outside controlled airspace is mostly position

reports from our side.

However, we may also want information about the weather, frequencies, etc.

If we experience weather that may pose a danger to others, we are obliged to

report this in an AIREP.
