Further details about this can be found in the section Operational Procedures.

                1.3.6 General provisions

                1.3.6.1 Seat belts

If the crew consists of 1 person, seat belts must be worn throughout the flight.

Seat belts with a waist strap are mandatory, and if shoulder harnesses are

available, they must also be used. If the crew consists of multiple members,

seat belts must be worn during takeoff and landing, and when ordered by the

                aircraft commander.

                1.3.6.2 Smoking

The flight manual indicates whether smoking on board is allowed. If permitted,

it is only allowed for seated persons. Smoking is prohibited during takeoff and
landing, and when the aircraft commander deems it necessary.

                1.3.6.3 Oxygen

When flying at altitudes above 10,000 feet in non-pressurized aircraft, oxygen
equipment must be carried with the capacity to supply oxygen to:

                   a. The commander shall ensure that all flight crew members performing

duties essential to the safe operation of the aircraft in flight continuously

use supplemental oxygen if he/she determines that a lack of oxygen at the

intended flight altitude could result in reduced performance of the crew,

and shall ensure that supplemental oxygen is available to passengers if a
lack of oxygen could harm the passengers.

                  b. In all other cases where the commander cannot determine how the lack

of oxygen could affect all occupants, he/she shall ensure:

                       1) that all flight crew members performing duties essential to the safe

operation of the aircraft in flight use supplemental oxygen for a period
