Around the exhaust pipe, with the hot air from the engine, a casing has been
constructed, through which unfiltered air flows, which is heated on its way along
the exhaust pipe.
8.9.3.1 Operating the carburetor preheating
When the control lever for the carburetor heat is pulled out, the otherwise
closed heating damper is opened, so that the heated air has free passage to the
carburetor.
